FF Kent /Zetec 1800 switch

Hello

Which year was Formula Ford Zetec 1800 introduced?
For how long did Ford support the Kent as an official series?

1993 was teh first year of Zetecs - Justin Keen won the first race - and Ingall first championship. There was a Kent divsion that season as part of the national series - won by one of Mike Goldney's cars (the ex-Magnusson chassis).

JEB has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
My old mate Philip Polites won the 1600 category in 1993.

Yeah, yeah.
But only to give the unfortunate Zetec owners somewhere to play out.
