Julian should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
** Volunteering 2018 **

And so another season approaches (my 41st...)!

My little web site https://marshals.org.uk again had a significant amount of use during 2017 so I will continue again in 2018, anything I can do to help marshals volunteer has to be a good thing.

First dates as usual were the Cadwell training days, there are also now forms for the Rockingham Training day and the MGCC.

As usual, Chief Marshals please send me your dates ASAP using my home email address where possible. I am away for part of the Christmas period but I will get the site updated as soon as I can.

I hope you all had a good 2017 and a particular thanks to all of you who helped at the events where I was Clerk. Best wishes for 2018.

(Can this replace last years thread as a Hot Topic please? - and change the thread name please, something went wrong there).

Julian

Slightly worried I've had to put "2018" in a thread title. Isn't it still 2012?
Thanks again Julian for all your efforts with the site.

Good Evening all!

Sorry I have not kept this thread very up to day - holiday over Christmas and so on.

There are now numerous forms available including some new events / venues. I am trying to get any new forms that I am sent uploaded as fast as I can.

The address is:
https://www.marshals.org.uk

Any Chief Marshals that have not sent me your details please do so ASAP.

I hope to see many of you at the NEC on Thursday.

Best wishes,
Julian

BASRC Trucks at Brands

Hi Julian,

The BARC list suggests that the April Truck Meeting is Saturday/Sunday.
I believe it is actually Sunday/Monday.

Regards,

CM

Thanks Julian. As always it is your site I direct new people to when they are seeking information about what's on.

There are some changes happening with the hosting of my web site in the next few days (hopefully) – For those interested I am finally catching up with the change to reCAPTCHA v2, this needs new form software and that needs upgraded web hosting (I find out last night)! Hopefully it will now go smoothly.

OK - the forms have been updated and everything moved onto a newer server.
The forms look to take a little longer to submit once the button is clicked but at least they will stay working when the reCAPTCHA v1 goes out of service.

Also - an update to the MSVR Silverstone form and a Mallory Classic form has been added.

There is now a Donington ES form available along with a link to the SDCC volunteering form.

I have also made a change to try and force all browsers to go to HTTPS - any problems let me know.

hi all, quick question? i am returning after many years absence from the bank. So starting at 0 which is going to be good fun working my way back up. never did the upgrading thing so still learning how it all works. Do test days count as attendance signature days? i have looked through my BMMC club and Julians fab volunteering form site, and can't seem to see any club/circuit test days? please help, i used to love a midweek break from work :-)

Only race days run under an MSA licence can count towards attendance signatures.

Midweek test days are run by the circuits and unfortunately do not run under an MSA licence.
