Duffacus should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Today Alzen reminded me of Schneider in the Merc at Le Mans in '99 trying to keep with the faster Toyotas. Alzen knew the Saleen was a slower car but he was sticking to the faster BMS Ferraris all the same.

the saleen is down on HP, and thats why it was tough for them. Last year, the saleen was really good at tight twisty tracks (remember anderstorp) I expect them to do good at valencia. That track has one long straight, but there are alot of tight corners. I think monza just had too many long straights..

Let's notice that :
- 2004 : 14 cars at the checkered flag, for 23 at the start
- 2003 : 26 cars at the checkered flag, for 38 at the start

The field is certainly not complete and not ready... were are the Listers ?

And we have now LMES : whatever we'll say, there's a concurrence between the two series...

Well only one works Lister was there because they didn't have enough time or money or whatever to field the second car as their driver walked out, and the Creation Lister retired not long after the works Lister. The field isnt complete, just look at our predicted entry list and you will see we came up with a lot more!

the question is, are these going to be the same teams all season or will more come up in the next few races?

The grid was a little small considering how many teams expressed intent on racing in the FIA GT !!! That Vitaphone Saleen was great to watch . My darkhorse car for every race .....

Did anyone who was there notice if the Saleens sound differant to each other ? Last year the Konrad cars sounded differant to the GNM cars . It was explained to me that it is the "gear cut" in the EMS that makes it so . Bloody shame there is none at Le Mans though !!!

lmsr is reporting that "Andrea Piccini is very likely going to conclude an agreement with the DAMS team in the next couple of days to drive the Lambo R-GT in its debut at Valencia. Jean-Denis Deletraz (currently running the LMES/LeMans dates with Barron-Connor) will co-pilot".

Interesting news. I didn't know that Lambo/Dams had plans to enter the Valencia race.
Are we going to see more Lamborghini's in FIA GT this year (Reiter?) or will the Dams car be the only one?

Reiter will enter at Valencia with Kox/Gavin at the wheel. I heard nothing about an DAMS entry...

I wouldnt have thought so , but maybe DAMS are getting the first car for Europe instead of the "factory" team , as they will be paying for it I expect .

Is there any reason why it should just be one car there? How many cars have been built though, very confusing if it is only one they have ready at the moment...

Reiter Engineering wasn't list as a 100% FIA-GT team. Just that.

There's one Lamborghini on the Valencia entrylist but it has no drivernames or team named yet.

Michael is generally pretty accurate. I asked him about the Dams news and he said drivers are the only issue and should be finalized today or tomorrow.

This is what the FIA said yesterday: "The Lamborghini Murcielago should make its season debut in the GT category; further details, including names of the drivers, will be announced shortly."

Yes, but sadly I know how Antonio Cano (Scuderia Cavallino owner) works, he isn´t very loved in Spanish paddock.

Darro Motor Racing 360 Modena is a good new through.

According to Audi Sport press, the dutchman Peter Kox and the briton Oliver Gavin will take to the wheel for Italian Super Sports Car’s debut.
As usually, DSC had confirmed this before...
