its ridicules that porsche has moved the drivers around they now don't have one car with two best drivers, why didn't they simply change the no 60 and 61...
BTW som one commented a while ago how porsche isn't interested in the Fia Gt championship, well i guess this just proved him wrong |

#50 seems to be struggling in the first 2 practice sessions, and #60 seems to be cruising.

Ferrari and AF Corse, could engaged an additional F430 under Advanced Engineering name for Melo and Kaffer to help the #50, now its clear all the Porsches are factory supported and will help each others to bring Westy or Manu the GT2 crown

All I can say is that Porsche is hitting the track pretty hard with these drivers.Half of their Works drivers will be on the track! This race will be total madness
And you know, Westbrook is a Porsche Works Driver. |

Richard is no longer a works driver, Porsche only had room for 10 Factory drivers at the end of 2009 so one had to go, and for some unknown reason they dropped one of there best GT drivers.

However I will have to disagree with you about the "one of there best GT drivers".In my opinion Porsche had made the best choice sacking him instead of anyone else.If you simply take a look at his sporting career you will see he is the weakest prize winner except maybe Lietz and Henzler with the last slightly edging him.But Lietz is much younger than Westbrook and with better perspective so Westbrook seems to be the right choice for me. |

Porsche was not interested in FIA GT, but now is having the chance to win, and they are trying to achieve drivers/manufacturer title. Is it a wrong move? |

Porsche and Ferrari are both supported by manufacturers. Don't try to find excuses. |

This is bad for you
But now when I look deeper maybe Maassen was the better choice. Last edited by GrayWolf; 24 Oct 2009 at 14:42. |

Maassen is there development driver, he wont be going anywhere, Pillet was the best choice, all he has to his name is 1 Carrera Cup France Championship, Richard is a multiple Porsche Supercup Champion and Multiple Carrera Cup GB Champion and has been consistently the quickest Porsche Driver in the FIA GT for the last 2 seasons, Collard has been unbelievably lackluster maybe he should have gone?

I'm sure Bergmeister and co. will make the difference in the race. It will be interesting tomorrow... I'm pretty confident. Absolutely no fear about Ferrari. |

It seems Porsche's move with Collard was more about balancing out some of the weight. The Brixia Porsche has now been handed a 50kg weight penalty, while the Prospeed #60 has lost 50kg.
