19dodge should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
hmm, interesting read.. so theres a problem with the airbags in the road car? and Saleen is asking for a 2nd extention for the issue?

there is supposed to be a new Saleen supercar coming out in 2008.. so it may not be too bad. Unless Saleen looses too much money over this..

The S7R's are FIA legal till the end of the 2006 season. I dont know about the ACO legality, but i bet its the same..

The FIA don't seem to have any problem extending the homologation of certain models, if a new model is planned for the future. It happens many times in the WRC.

ahh ok.. but i expect a new saleen model out racing in 2007 with a factory team (hopefully).. so 2006 may be the last year for the S7R. (that would be 5.5 years of racing the car, which is a long time)

after reading all of this i can only draw conclusions from race performance, and on that i say konrad is the better of the two.

konrad beat the vettes, konrad beat the 550s...

Financially they can't afford to get airbags in the car, but they can design a new car?

Say Gunman what did Mosler do to meet the federal standards? Did they have to develope their own systems or purchase "parts bin" GM products?

Raided the parts bin for airbags, but not from GM. The car passed on the first airbbag test too.
