Starting to see transporters and their entourage make their way up the Hume.
Saw the Novavastrian rig broken down at Pheasants Nest yesterday, and the Volvo tour bus in Goulburn tonight. |

Odd that Ms Angelo makes the Speedcafe headlines with a test day instead of this, which was largely put together by Speedcafe themselves.

Not worthy of a legitimate photo shoot? Harvey Norman will be impressed with that photo behind a roller door...

Simona de Silvestro is no Penelope Pitstop, she should have the car up the pointy end.

Was thinking the same thing. For all the fuss surrounding this entry you would've thought the livery pics would look a bit more professional then some pics that look like they were taken in someone shed. Midpack would be good for them considering their lack of experience and the competition. I can see Simona doing better then people think, she does have quite a bit of natural talent and I think we'll see that over race weekend. |

The problem being it's not in these under tyred; over heavy; high powered; things that we race here.
No doubt she's a good steerer but many have come and struggled in our unique machines. First year as they have said all along is about learning. If they qualify higher than 25th I'll be surprised. IF they finish it won't be higher than 20th. Of course I'd love to be proved wrong.... |

I'm struggling to draw comparison with the Xbox car of Mr Prilaux and Mr Ekstrom. I think they've been the most outstanding to date.

car looks good, the drivers are talented but inexperienced in these cars.... Its a pity these two won't be left to their own devices on race weekend to try and get experience and a finish
I know its the media attention this car will get is what got the sponsors onboard to get the car on the grid, but they are going to racing for second last spot in qualifying (unless a regular does a Whincup 2014) and will be picking up the crumbs on Sunday running round the back. We know they are doing a good job given the current V8SC rules, but what will the general media make of it all after all this build up?? |

No matter how good either of them are, our Mountain is tough and bites the inexperienced hard. Go off line trying to let someone past and you will hit the wall, miss a braking marker on the way down, the same. The very best in our sport still get caught out, so if they finish with a straight car I think they deserve a big pat on the back. Ms Gracie herself doesn't have a ton of overall experience but I will be cheering them on. Anybody know if she is doing the development series race to get miles?

Apparently Ms Gracie is doing the DVS enduro.
Should've been ideal to put Ms de Silvestro in that car as well, but not the case. Miles are miles, I'd have thought. |

I think u will there would be rules some where in the book stating that both drivers can not run in the Devlopment Enduro & the main game in the same car. But I could be wrong.

Perhaps, but given they're both rookies, you'd think the rule would be flexible enough to allow it.

I took it a different way, maybe Ms de Silvestro will hog the miles in #200 while Ms Gracie uses up all the DVS sessions in #55...

I reckon the Supergirls car is going to look great on TV and it will get plenty of it.
Gawd knows we'll get Renee interviewed no doubt and asked about who will win the Bachelorette |
