Photos' Grp 5 80's
We have had a chance to see some great photos of sportscars cars of the 60's & 70's, moving on a bit to the end of the Grp 5 era we had some fantastic cars.
This is a Ferrari from Le Mans 84. I dont think it would look out of place on the grid today. Last edited by Nordic; 17 Feb 2003 at 13:29. |

You're so right Nordic. In the game of naming the sexiest cars ever, The P4 came first (IMHO), the F40 just after ...

That's quite an interesting Ferrari in the photo- it's Scuderia Bellancauto's 512BBLM which had been very highly modified from the 'standard' Gp5/IMSA 512-
compare it with http://www.supercars.net/garages/carlitos/97v2.html background on the Bellancauto car (in French) http://gto-racing.nexenservices.com/...rari512BBB.htm I won't swear to this, but think it was the last Ferrari to run at Le Mans until the GT's returned in the around 1993/4 |

The greatest grp 5 car ever? in this case the rare K4 model raced by Fitzpatrick in the very wet Brands 1000k in 82.
