Looking good for a super Spa Summer Classic meeting next week. Almost all races have full capacity grids and weather forecast is quite promising.

Crosslé Racing Drivers’ Club will bring a total of 16 cars, 13 Crosslé 9S Sports Racers from UK, Ireland and Switzerland and 3 guest cars from Switzerland also. This is a record number of entrants for us in the Spa Ardennes Challenge, amongst a total confirmed entry of 77 cars, just spectacular.

We are in the Endurance boxes, 24 to 32 incl., please pop along and visit.

Just checked the latest forecasts for Spa, and although hot today with poss thunderstorm later, some damp tomorrow, then colder and wetter Saturday....

There can't be that much water left up there, surely!!! Hope it doesn't get in the way of your racing, guys and gals. Keep safe....

Thanks Will. Interesting time for a Grantura- 3.03:9. Maybe on Avons?

Curious as to why the Nolte / Ferrao GT40 is at the back of the grid! Should make for some fun overtaking during the first few laps, anyway.....

And worse- there's a heavy shower heading my way.

Had a text from Chris a few minutes ago,Allen might have the Avons on -he couldnt decide.
Joe's TVR is always quick ,it was built that way.

Trying to interpret live timing, looks like an SC on first lap (maybe), but circuit went green again around lap 4. Must be dry by lap times!

Sadly looks like the Marcos has stopped on track somewhere, as now several laps down but not in pits. Brian Lambert's MGB (Delta sharing) is in a line of similar cars, so should be having a good dice.....

Problems for some tenthers it would seem, but well done Dave Thompson and Jon Wolfe for their excellent result in the TVR! Looks like it was a textbook 'endurance' drive to 19th o/a. Not sure of class position, but must be about 5th?

Good job, Guys!

Let's hope for better in the 6hr, Iain! Another tenther should have mentioned- Simon Hadfield, 2nd o/a with Wolfgang Friedrich in the latter's DP214 spec Aston. Running 3rd for a long while, they moved up a place when one of the two Griffs broke in the late stages of the race.

Some talk before the race about the regs allowing cars from '66-'76 running on more modern tyres than the Pre '66 classes. So how was it in reality?
