Live Timing: The ninth round of the DTM from the circuit de Catalunya from 14:03 h. Alexandre Prémat from Spengler in the warm-up this morning. I'd expect Mika might let Spengler by at some point so, go ahead and start complaining now.
Can you give us a live stream DTM? |

What was Ekström thinking? He blew this one by his own. La Rosa did not have anywhere to go.

Yeah CJ, and Green may as well let Spengler through now, LOL.

When Sprengler got past Rockenfeller, Audi had no way to take away championship points from Sprengler.

So is that it then? Just like 96? DTM over?
What is Audi saying to justify its actions? |

Stupid move from Hakkinen. I did only see a few snippets of the race but this is a wrong action from Audi. After Zandvoort another race. |

Can't really see the DTM recovering from this
I didn't watch the race but it really does sound like Merc had employed Mika, La Rosa, Lauda and co on a kamikaze mission today Meh, at least Green didn't let Spengler through, though I should imagine Merc would have pulled him over if Audi hadn't pulled out. He's won, but it means nothing. Farce |

What a farce. Even if you are not happy with your rivals actions you should continue to race and sort it out afterwards. Of course doing this has a big impact but brings with it a lot more hassle than is wanted.

I missed the race watching FIA GT - what happened here?
Sounds like Audi withdrew their remaining cars from the race because they were unhappy with something? |

When Mercedes effectively run the series what else could Audi do? The DTM is for the sole benefit of Mercedes, they just want someone, anyone, to race with 'em. |

Audi don't like playing with the big boys so take the ball home. Do I hear the death knell for the DTM?
It takes two manufacturers to have a manufacturers championship. |

Exactly why a big manufacturer should never ever be allowed to own more than 49% of a race team.
This deserves a WMSC tribunal all of its own Last edited by TWRv12; 23 Sep 2007 at 16:15. |
