The most i'v ever seen is 140c on a go-kart track after a 10 or 12 lap race, but you must remember that on a kart track the speed is not that high and therefore airflow is not very good.

On a proper car track i usually see 120-130c tops. Have done 22 flat out laps at oran park and it didnt go higher than 120c.

BTW, for all those that may think this is high for oil temps, are engines are AIR COOLED not water cooled.

im using mobil synergy pump fuel....cant see the point in running bp or shell 100 at more then $1.50 a litre when are engines are all standard road bike engines....if we had high compresion and big cams and all that other **** then it would worth it.

My single oil cooler takes a little less, but twin oil coolers take nearly 6 litres....what temps are you seeing ??

We also use foam filters (unifilter), but i would prefer k&n

Our oil is running at approx 160 - 170 but our engines are oil / air cooled so they tend to run high oil temps to give hp or so suzuki says anyway. there is alos a new filter out that flows more than a k7n so I'll get its name and let you know.Just finished our AU falcon plug so will post a picture soon as.

hey I think my coversion was close , the design temps of the engine are 370f and thats about what we run. We run semi synthetics and change reg. I think that the temps are higher than air only cooled engines.
