NiG_21 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
You're right! The Penske IROC is little beyond the scope of FC but the IROC-Z (3rd Gen) is on the eligibility list... c'mon... you know you want to

I should drain the tank out and see exactly how much fuel I can cram in there and do some milage caluclations, it would be my luck to run out on the last lap or two!

If it's any help, Al, my Porsche Carrera 3.2 gets through about 30-35 litres in the FC 40 minute races...........your consumption will be somewhat higher, but I don't imagine you'd need more than 50 with the compulsory stop.

Maybe I could persude a mate to co-drive but he recons he can't live with LHD! Realistically I would say 50 miles on a tankful as it does about 5mpg racing would be it and I cant see that cutting it to be honest as 40 minutes around say Mallory with the Green flag laps etc would be about 60 odd miles.

We weigh our fuel working on KG per minute. Still getting the hang of it as after the Brands Hatch round I only got about 1 pint out out! Cutting it a bit too fine me thinks!

Now Nigel, whats this about even longer races? yes please.....
