Gene has been fastest on all 3 days of testing at the track.

Mania should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Gene has impressed me since he took over as the Williams test driver last year. Clearly, the Williams bosses hold him highly - and have publicly praised his input as has Ralf Schumacher, if I remember correctly.

I just hope Gene doesent spend the rest of his career on the test bench like Badoer at Ferrari. I'd like to see Marc drive for a good team to show us what he can do.

PS - BAR - still down in the dumps. Let the countdown begin for Jacques final departure from BAR.

To be fair rto BAR, theye did have a mechanical problem which limited Davidson to just 20 laps. On day 2 he was 2nd fastest behind Gene and ahead of Alonso.

but still way of the lap record....whats wrong with the pace of these new cars??

They were NOT using the new cars. All 3 drivers used interim cars.
