gucom should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I love it! The headlights look great, I think the ACO will also agree, IMO this looks more roadcar-ish than most of the headlights used on prototypes... With a good livery this car's gonna be awesome, shame I won't get to see it in action this year...

I also think it's a stunning car, can't wait to see it, roll on Le Mans!

It would be interesting to get some laptime comparisons with the S101/101.5 (I know, hard to compare with the restrictor break et al, but it should be absolutely blitzing the old car if any of their 'performance' statements are to be believed).

It looks as if its going to be blisteringly quick! Loving these coupes! Is the driver very small or is it higher in the roof line than the Lola?

well they're all japanese drivers... not to make derogatory comments but they're generally shorter than european guys, and from one of the pics on Endurance Info he does indeed look pretty small...

I didnt want to be in anyway derogatory about our Asian cousins but I accept they arent as tall in general but as I didnt (and still dont) know who is driving, it just looks like the roof is higher than a Lola, and certainly higher than the EE!

Isn't the rest of the bodywork (side pods etc) very low, exaggerating the "visual" height of the cockpit? I don't see why they'd want to make it any higher than necessary...

Seriosly cool looking headlights.

The car looks like it's been plucked from Le Mans 92/93!

I agree that they would not be over the minimum allowed height, for several reasons. And those are basically determined by Art. 16.1.1 A/ a.1 (pg #19) and how it correlates to sevseral others as depicted in Appendix J/2 drawing 258A/9 (pg #38) of the P-1 P-2 regs.

This is the Tokai University's official home page.
http://www.u-tokai.ac.jp/lemans/theteam.html

http://www.u-tokai.ac.jp/lemans/theteam03.html

The article about Tokai Univ project was published in the latest AUTOSPORT magazine(Japanese edition).
However, there was no photograph of the completed car.
But, Professor Hayashi said the name of their first driver. His name is Toshio Suzuki.
He has been known about the chief test driver of Nissan-GTR.
The record of Nissan GTR with Nürburgring is due to his drive.

According to AUTOSPORT magazine, Tokai Univ's bell housing was designed by students.
The part is made by welding the steel board(not by casting).
And, interestingly, the wind tunnel which they have used is former Dome's wind tunnel.

This is starting to look really badass.

Altough the all-white livery doesn't do justice
