Round 8 - Moto GP 2012, Sachsenring

Both Friday sessions are done and Pedrosa has led them both. Morning session was dry and the afternoon session was wet. This is a fairly tight and short track, so the CRT times might look closer than they really are. Battaini is in for Abraham and let's not forget that Bautista will have to start from the back.

That was a hot race! An unbelievable last two laps from Pedrosa! Normally, I think he's a bit weak mentally, but he should gain a lot of confidence out of that. A rare occasion where the guy in front pressures the guy behind into a mistake. Bautista would be the most relieved bloke out there, I reckon.

First genuine mistake from Stoner since perhaps the Ducati days. No doubt he's still lamenting the chatter. Lorenzo picks back almost all of his ground he lost from Assen, so I guess it's a wash. Feel that Mugello should suit the Honda better, but maybe not.

Great ride by both Repsol riders, both on the edge all the way - that last corner would've been fun if they both made it there .... Championship is wide open now perhaps!

Moto 2, normal poo with Marquez boring me all the way...
Moto 3, rain made it interesting - where were you Maverick???
