Patrese256 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Riccardo Patrese website

This site is my tribute to the Italian who competed in a record 256 Grands Prix between 1977 and 1993. My own interviews with both Riccardo and Alan Rees (former Arrows team manager) are there plus photos, race reports and more!

Let me know what you think...

Nice site indeed, and that photo of Riccardo with the sun in the background is a perfect opener...

great site.
I was a fan of Patrese as well and I have on tape a lap of the jacaparagua circuit in brazil from on board his 1989 Williams that is simply awesome one of the best on board laps I have ever seen.
I think he was something special and the longevity of his career was a testament to that.

very good site I shall continue to return often

My favourite driver of all time. Back in 1984 I met him in Estoril and I make the words of Nigel Roebuck mines ""No record book will ever provide a clue as to the personality of Patrese. There have never been points for dignity or humour or grace." Even if I only spoke with him for 3 or 4 minutes it was really a pleasure and a dream come true. This dignity sense it's what got my attention on Patrese. He brings me some of my best memories about F1.

It's almost been a year since I posted this thread and The Riccardo Patrese Tribute Site has grown well beyond my hopes

Hopefully, if you haven't visited for a while, you'll like the new additions!!

Site update

Riccardo takes a keen interest in the website and has recently answered a number of questions which can be found in the site forum. His comments about Elio de Angelis and the reasons for his retirement from F1 are particularly interesting. More questions will be very welcome...
