Was that his return of fire after she suggested his decision to leave was based on gender, his response suggesting that it was about competitiveness?

I think you're drawing a long bow to try and justify what appears to be a specific and isolated comment.... having watched the race, there were plenty of tales of cars tripping over each other....

Thay said, I understand the bitterness if indeed that's the fuel behind the post..... The last few years have seen SVG build on his career, while the once expansive Erebus operation is a shadow of what it was (or should have been)..... must be exceptionally frustrating to run out of excuses.

Does that suggest rotating title sponsors too, on top of the new liveries?

Perhaps they'll do a DJRTP, and rotate the sponsor group around on the car? The base livery seems universal enough to do it.

I wonder if Mr Pye's Visa Logistics connection (long-time helmet sponsor) was what got him the gig? However, it is odd that they never appeared on anything he'd driven previously.

Yes that was a blunt reply, it was in response to Engel and Betty saying what they did. At least Engel had the decency to say sorry it was heat of the moment. Betty wouldn't

Visa Global Logistics originally showed up on a TDR Commodore back in 2013.. somewhere along the way they became a personal sponsor of Mr Pye..

Rumour has it that a certain retail giant might be coming back to the sport. Wonder if they're going to bring back a web slinging hero for Bathurst again?

What if its not a car, but rather the series or an event

I should add, I know nothing about this, just mere speculation
