Castle combe 7/5/07

If anyone is considering what to do on bank holiday monday come to combe for a fantastic days racing.

12 races including
stocks , rgb ,locost,v's,monoposto and the fantastic local championships for ff1600 , 100th saloon race and gt's.

full grids with the ff1600 and gt's being over subscribed having a qualification
race for the ff1600 (come on boys and have a go with our local lads )
and the Gt's will also be split so still time to get a entry in

Was up there yesterday testing

Lots of v's , ff1600 and one of the 360 ferrari's which is entered in the combe gt's had a huge moment over avon rise and got away with it ( some how )

Shame about the weather i was soaked by 8 in the morning.

Brilliant racing ( this is why we love the 750 mc) and abit of a crash fest at quarry. Locost roll , stock hatch pile up ect... thankfully all the drivers were ok.
Great commentry Ian (as all of us have already said on the combe forum) please do the rest of the year

Its good to have someone who knows what they are on about.

Awesome day sod the weather if we have another meeting like that then it can rain again..........nah changed me mind i'd rather it was dry like it was in the afternoon but without the hurricane!!!!!

Just a pity really the 750 m/c on visits once a year,i still feel that combe has three of the best home grown championships in the country long my they stay heathly.

As I got back up from taking evasive action, I was expecting to see a bit of a mess, but the swine only took part of his undertray off!

Seemed like a glancing-blow at first, but three armco posts were actually moved back by about 18 inches!
