Drifty think that a well set up and driven F1 car from around 94/95 is probarely the route to go to win in Euroboss as Earl Goddard 4L Reynard 95D, Dave Hutchings Benetton B194 and Patrick D'Aubery Benetton B193 have proved in the past. I think Nigel Greensall in a Benetton B194 3.5 V8 will give Klaus in his 1998 Benetton 4L V10 hybrid more than something to think about this weekend...........

So you are saying if someone had 2004 car you would not let it enter?
Do u really think Euroboss has lots of entries that they can afford to turn people away? You can now get Cosworth TJ engines but there is nowhere to run them. |

The accident in the 1st race was caused by Eddie Mclurg moving across to early just after the start, however the second race was excellent and the best of the entire weekend!
It was a shame they lost 3-4 cars through mechanical problems in qualifying but the second race still had about 10 cars. |

There was a great drive by Nigel Greensall in the 2nd race. Just remarkable. Brilliant drive by Klaas in race 1 and a good weekend and two good drives by Jodie Hemming in the Jordan. Theres more to come from that car........

Christian,
I might have missed it but apparently the Assen round is off (to keep the raceweekend within the sound limit regulations). Do you know more? |

@Rob29: ChampCar is 100% GO...it's just that with ChampCar, German F3, Dutch Supercar Challenge (like Britcar) and BRL V6 they seem to have a lot of loud noise making cars.
EuroBOSS would mean they exceed the noise limits set in the regulations. |

Some drivers say the 9 weeks break is ok (especially the drivers which have damaged their cars in the start crash`s) and some other say 'it is too long, we want a race'! I will give you the news first, when we have a decision! Christian EuroBOSS Last edited by BOSSman; 22 May 2007 at 14:38. |

EuroBOSS@GPlive 2007
Would not like to bore you with old facts about this event, because you can read here at 10/10ths some interesting and good storys about GPlive 2007.
Yes, there were many problems and things which must be absolutely changed for a 2nd edition of this (actually) good event idea, but there were also some positive points, especially both EuroBOSS races! I say (and many other) our 2nd race was the best of the whole event! Very entertaining, close fights in the midfield and a fantastic drive from the pitlane to Pos.1 of one of the EuroBOSS "Greats", Nigel Greensall! Also again two very good races of Jodie (3th/4th) and after his not-start at Hockenheim (home accident where he had some ribs broken) now a perfect start into the 2007 season with two 'Master' class wins of Karl-Heinz Becker! Good to see Eddi McLurg and Colin Stone back in EuroBOSS, but also very sad for Peter Alexander that he could not find a possibility to race with us this weekend! You can find here all the results: http://www.msttiming.com/barc/2007/72022.pdf ...and here from our friend Remy (www.gurneyflap.com) some good pictures and short EuroBOSS@Donington race notes: (Thanks Remy) http://www.gurneyflap.com/eurobossdoningto.html (Klaas Zwart drove the qualifying session, but after a problem with the paddle-shift gearbox on his Ascari Benetton he changed to his 'ready for action' ex-Alesi Ferrari V12 from 1995! Unfortunately, for the first race the Ascari Benetton was repaired and therefore he must start from the back of the grid, because he had no time with this car! The Ferrari qualifying time was a !57.972!, usually the 2nd start position! Christian EuroBOSS |

Paul Ricard (28/29 July we deleted)! Brands or maybe Thruxton would be my personal GB favourites! Monza would be also a good place for a EuroBOSS race... Christian EuroBOSS |

Only 3 circuits in the UK that the MSA would sanction a Euroboss race and they are Brands, Silverstone and Donington. The rest are far to dangerous for these cars and spectators.
