Fred Goddard's Funeral
We received from his family some information to Fred's funeral:
12 o'clock Tuesday 31st July 2007 at Silverstone Village Church, a memorial service. The family have asked not to send flowers, but donations to The British Motorsport Marshalls Club, thankyou. He run several people in BOSS (Francis Phillips, Earl Goddard, Paul Osborn, Kevin Sherwood, Duncan Gray, Klaas Zwart, William Hewland, Nigel James, etc.). Fred was one of the closest friends to EuroBOSS - We all will miss him sorely! R.I.P Fred!  Christian for EuroBOSS Management |

Thanks to Fred's family for thinking of the marshals. I will post details later of where to send any donations and will of course be sending a letter of condolances and thanks.

looking forward to the weekend. I will be marshaling and my daughter will be in assembly. This will be the first time we have seen or heard the v10's with the real sound of F1 etc and the open paddock will have to be taken advantage of (if we get a decent lunch break or earlyish finish)

With the current entry I think Jodie has a great chance of a win at Snetterton based on her more recent knowledge of the circuit compared to the Ascari drivers (Klaus not having raced there for several years). However there is a test day which may play in to the hands of the Ascari team if they attend........
The 27 year wait since Desire Wilson won an Aurora AFX F1 race at Brands maybe over? |

Sad,that anyone who does not access this forum or the Euroboss site will be unaware that this event is on.Autosport does not mention it under its listing for weekends BRSCC Snetterton details.

Rob29 100% agree with you Autosport has a shameful record when advertising forthcoming Euroboss events and only covers results when the race has taken place in the UK.
F1 fans are missing a great opportunity to witness "proper" F1 cars raced in anger with access to the cars and a friendly paddock of drivers/teams. |

Hi - I live within a mile of Snett - great to hear the noise of F1 cars again !! Just come back from watching a bit of Friday testing. Even with a small entry it looks a good spectacle - not to be missed !!!
