I don't know it reminds me more of the Matech Ford GT3 than the bigger bulkier Ford GT1 (and slim Doran Ford GT2). Though with obviously more sophisticated aero

Maybe this speedhunters article by andy_b from 2008 gives enough context?

Anyone remember the Doran Ford GT2 of ACS Express that was entered for PLM 2010 and was planning to do full 2011 season, so you'd potentially had THREE Ford GTs in that season with the two Robertsons as well.
But they whacked the car in practice even before first quali and never bothered to show anywhere again. Talk about short projects |

I wonder when will hear more about the driver lineup? I guess itll be at years end or early next year when we see the full lineup. With two cars each for IMSA and WEC there are eight spots up for grabs plus another four for the longer endurance races.
Joey Hand is pretty much certain-IMSA probably? Scott Pruett? Would definitely be in for a IMSA seat if he is involved. Stefan Mucke is a rumoured pilot-moreso for the WEC programme |

Mucke is already confirmed isn't he? Or is he just confirmed as leaving Aston? |

I believe he's confirmed to be leaving Aston but not confirmed with Ford. But honestly where else would he go?

Mucke's a very fast German, and Porsche have the lure of a potential LMP1 future for their GT guys. Having said that, I agree that's it's almost certain he'll turn up at Ford. |

I dont think that there is room at Porsche for him, it seems as though they have plenty of GT guys to pick from.

Surely Scott Maxwell has to be in contention for a seat, considering he's been one of the main development drivers and Multimatic's involvement?
