Was I right in hearing Brundle call McLaren idiots, regarding Hamilton dropping to 8th on the grid because of the gearbox penalty?

Di Grassi's car is no longer a Virgin, if you know what I mean.

Crikey, that was eventful. I cant find the thread but there was a thread a few months ago talking about sparecars etc, this is 1 event that shows we could do with them, we would have Di Grassi on the grid, and if they were to red flag the race, petrov, massa et all could restart. Anyway forget all that, red flag never happened so they wouldnt have restarted anyway.
Crazy move by Massa obviously a man under pressure. I can see him losing his Ferrari drive when his contract is up. |

Kubica's Renault retires in sympathy; shame he had a great start.

Ah, heartbreak for Kubica after a great start.
Less chance of an interesting race now he's no longer splitting the Red Bulls. |

So 3 laps in and everyone is out already. Kubica disappearing is a shame.
Wonder what Mclaren will do. They have Button ahead of Lewis but on a different strategy. Should be Mclaren's interest for Lewis to be ahead. |

Interesting observation. we've just spent the day watching Bathurst 1000 and Live timing was always ahead of the telecast, by heaps towards the end of the race, yet on F1 our telecast is a lap ahead of the Live Timing.
What's it like in other countries? |

Wow, Martin and Jonathan sounded different for a few seconds!
(Epic Leroy Jenkins reference by the way from the radio commentator.) |

Kamui Kobyashi!!
We need more like him in F1. And also Lewis Hamilton. They are never afraid to make a pass. They always go for it, no matter what the out come will be. That's racing! |

Seb seems to have his mojo back in the last three races then. Webber just about hanging on though.
