Pandemonium has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!

What Shea forgot to mention is the #22 and #63 are about 20 minutes later than #93 on pit strategy.

So? Porsche, Audi and Toyota are automobile manufacturers which make street-legal cars and they race to promote their brand. In comparison, there wouldn't be much discussion about, let's say Coyote DP, because it's just a generic platform.

There's a problem with the #10 exiting the pits. Is Taylor just feeling the grip?

Looks like he is just getting used to new tyres.

T&S says the fastest lap for #60 was set on lap 340. Did he set another 1:39.72x just now?

Pit reporters confirm AXR kept the tyres while WTR changed them.

Couldn't agree more. We're as terrible as this race so go away and leave us to our lower class product.

Hurley Haywood: If you cut a tire or lose time, it's almost impossible to make up that time.

Yeah, right. Ask Barbosa how hard it is to gain back 1-2 laps...

Watched pretty much from the start without taking eye off too much but then with Rooftop Ray sort of got tired and eventually snoozed off for about 7-8 hours. Waked up middle way through that but when I saw the Oak car laps down went back to sleep.

You know Speed King is right in a sense that this is better than last year, obviously it is, and there is now at least a small sense of it being more than just a Grand-Am race, however when you watch this stuff so rarely you almost forgot how ridiculous it is... you have team fixing the car in the pits for couple of laps, then after getting going it re-pits multiple times in short intervals for check-ups and stuff. But then hour or so later with all the wave by crap that same thing is artificially advanced to lead. When you think about it, the whole thing is utterly ridiculous and just like in NASCAR, the only thing that matters during the first 23 hours 45 minutes is keeping the car and engine alive from accidents & mechanical gremlins so that you're ready for the "final shootout" after the stupid wave bys have moved everybody to the lead lap. Even if you were 20 down couple of hours ago...

Every year the same amazement... yes it's close and you have fights (also down to tight BoP), but it doesn't really mean anything if you pass someone, not until the final minutes.

Anyway, even though it's hard to make too many judgements with this system, HPD(s) faired better than though pace wise for their first event. Getting stuck to garage was inevitability. They'll be good by Le Mans
