- Direction Racing runs Porsche, and will have two cars in this season.
- Hitotsuyama Racing might have the same drivers as from last season.

If Team Bandoh continue to participating GT500 then the team will choose Lexus RC-F or BMW (if RC-F is not eligible or can't find the suitable sponsporship) if BMW is participating GT500 as a new team. If Team Bandoh participate GT300 the team might be use GT86 Mother chassis or the new BMW Z4 GT3 as the fourth team of the Z4 GT3.

Agreed. If they partipicate in GT300 with BMW, here's what the teams are with the BMW below.

- BMW Sports Trophy Team Studie

Goodsmile Racing and Team Studie are basically one team in my opinion. Therefore, BMW will potentially have three teams using the Z4 GT3.

GSR and Team Studie have split so they are now two separate teams.

The engine IS the problem. A deficit of not less than 30hp if GT500 will be 500hp powerfull and lack of too much torque because of the absence of the hybrid system.

Take it easy,If they do that, the BMW car should be modified the engine to the regulation needed(2.0 liter L4 turbo) as well as DTM regulation changed in 2016. The engine will modified slightly by using Formula BMW engine technology or theory for the torque and the hybrid system should use the BMW i technology so the engine should be no problem . Then I think should be 2 series (M2) or M4 same as DTM 2014 spec as well.

I mean that the bracket one BMW is already introduced the BMW M235i racing already. So I hoped that BMW will introduced the new model of BMW 2-series model like BMW M2 (L4 turbo) (similar to Mercedes A 45 AMG specs).

Note that BMW M2 model is the different version of BMW M235i model one.

Factory team of Lexus will participate in GT300 class by BMW Z4 GT3.
They will switch the chassis to Lexus RC-F GT3 in the middle of the season.
2 cars of RC-F GT3 will be manufactured. One car is for GT300, the other is for Nur24.
Team: OTG(Osaka Toyopet Group) motorsports
Driver: Hiroki Yoshimoto, Akira Iida
Machine maintenance: team LeMans

That will be very interesting. Lexus already has the LFA (2 actually) running the N24 race. Maybe they will be using it as a test for the GT300 car, or will it be opposite? Is this confirmed or rumored?

Very well I guess that Team Bandoh will do that if the team participating the GT500 Team Bandoh maybe use Lexus RC-F GT500 or BMW or if Team Bandoh is in GT300 then this team will use BMW Z4 GT3 or Lexus RC-F GT3 same as the team above or middle season changed. In conclusion, BMW and Lexus(Toyota) are cooperating with the sportscar project and are the relationship with together.

I can actually sort-of see this happening.

Iida is affiliated with AAI and AAI recently bought 2x Z4.
