What the hell is that? Looks like a Formula 5000 car with pontoons over the wheels.

Yes Paul Newman Racing Can-Am car driven by Al Unser Sr. the sister car #6 was driven by Teo Fabi

March 817 is correct, but many of the Can-Am cars were indeed Formula 5000 cars with pontoons.
