(Apologies to 10/10s for the link to another forum.)
To quote Fausto (who could have posted this himself...
"The whole package (car, championship, promotion) is the brainchild of Luigi Corbari, formerly involved with Alfa Romeo, ItalianThreethousandInternational, Dollop Racing, now promoter of Euro Formula 3000.
The car was initially due for debut this year, with Renault power, then the project got late and they switched engine too......
It's based on a carbonfibre chassis built, if I'm not wrong, by Belco Avia, an italian company run by Guglielmo Bellasi (one-off F.1constructor, very early 70s).
The engine is an Alfa Romeo straight four, from the 147Cup (230 CV). The car will be on sale for about 85.000 Euros. It seems that three car have already been sold, a further ten are under construction."

Another "spec sport" series - not what we need I think.

I dont see a reason why not. Providing there is enough demand for the series of course, spec sport series makes for closer racing after all, obviously the car wont be on the pace of the real LMP cars but hey its the poor mans version of LMP racing.

If they think its viable then go for it!
