I think they should have stuck with the 18" ones, part of the success of the (old) BTCC was the cars looked beefy, and young hooligans looked up to the cars. 16" wheels will look a bit pathetic, on a high powered machine. I know they wanted to reduce the wheel size to increase braking distances and increase overtaking, but they could have achieved this by reducing the size of the brakes.

Hell my Dads car has 17" wheels (Suabru Impreza)

i thought they where using 17"???

what did the class b 2000 have???

i hope they dont use 16" that'll look $h1t
[pardon my french]

but the astra wheels look ok!

That's right. Super Tourers used 19" last year, and BTC Tourers will use 17".
