Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Just released in the last couple of weeks. My example arrived today, very nice model!

I got it from Trax Models, they are out of stock now, Spark 1:18s tend to go quick. It only came out a couple of weeks ago, yet it already seems to be attracting a premium on ebay.

Can anyone post an up to date list of 1:18 LM winners which have been released? I am somewhat out of touch having had my collection in storage for 3-4 years. Thanks for any help!

Picked up a couple of cabinets on ebay yesterday from an antiques shop in Stow on the Wold that was closing down... what do you reckon? It's great to get the models out again after they have been in storage for the past four or five years but I now have gaps in the collection to fill! There have been a lot of new releases whilst I have been away

Looking good Craig Those cabinets look ideal for the 1:18 models. Where are they - in a general 'family' room or in a man cave?

Are you sticking with the 1:18 models now and moving away from the Super Tourers completely? I'm thinking I may have to thin my collection out - I just don't have the space.

I have slowly been selling my collection off over the past four years. First was my Montoya collection - all bar a few - then I am half way through the 100 or so super tourers I had. Next up will be the aye ton senna 1:18s. Will be sticking to the Le Mans winners now.

The display is actually in my office at work. We'll away from the kids! Would love to bring them home if ever I got a room back here but it's unlikely as there is no space to expand where we are and I cba to move!

I was thinking about sticking to one series / theme as a way of limiting my collection but I've found that too hard - there's just too much of the "I can't get rid of that one it's just too cool" about it. I'm planning on thinning out duplicates (I've got about 15 different S2000 BMWs for example) and reducing the collection that way.

Away from the kids is a good idea - I came home one day to find a Lister Storm and TVR 400R being raced around the living room floor I've now got 2 small cabinets on the wall in my man cave / home office and a couple of shelves in a bookcase. Nowhere near enough space for the whole collection (hence the need to thin it out).

My little collection sans the Porsche 962 which is sitting here awaiting decals applying. I have to say that I am delighted to get them out their boxes again (and to welcome some newcomers!) I should be looking to fill the gaps in the modern part of the collection as I have seen a lot of those races myself however I actually find myself feeling most interested in the smaller cabinet of the two which complains the pre-1970 cars... they look awesome!

Does anyone own the TSM version of the Bentley Speed 8 Le Mans winner from 2003? I owned the AutoArt version, but unfortunately my entire collection (30+ LMPs) was stolen during a house move. So I'm starting from scratch. Don't know whether to buy the TSM or AutoArt versions.

The AutoArt version I bought for £40 in 2004, brand new. But now they sell for around £100. The TSM version is around £120. So it'd have to be better quality. Does anyone have experience with this?

Sorry to hear about that, I'd be devastated if that happened!

I added a the 86 and 87 Rothmans Porsches this morning so this is how it's looking right now. The nice people where I buy my new models added the decals for me as a Christmas present! That's what I call customer service

I was devastated. But the plus side was that the house move was moving out from a druggy flatmate into a nice flat with my soon-to-be-wife and with a new job to round it off. So whilst I was gutted, my view was I gave away my model car collection to start a new life, and it's worked out very well as the collection is now growing (both 18 and 43).

I ended up buying an AutoArt Bentley in 18 rather than TSM because someone listed one wrongly, so I got it for £60. I might get the TSM GT3 though.

I *LOVE* your collection Craig. When I'm making big bucks, I want a similar layout.

Took delivery of the latest addition this morning: the 1965 winner as produced by Looksmart. My first time buying a model from this manufacturer and reasonably happy with it. Look forward to their other new releases which are coming soon!

How much did you pay for it? Picked one up for about £200, fear I might have overpaid somewhat, but given how limited it appears to be, didn't know how many more opportunites there's going to be.

It's horribly overpriced particularly given the quality of the way it's been put together. I've seen many people report that they've received theirs with bits fallen off or missing (mine had a minor non functioning part of the suspension broken and one of the rear wing uprights was loose but a small blob of glue will fix those) but the seller had the decency to mark it's value as $30 on the customs declaration so I only paid £18 duty/VAT/handling. I think it totally around £190 including the shipping and customs. I'd never normally spend that much but this was such a short run I thought I might not see another for sale and, well, you know what collectors are like when they need to fill a gap in the collection...

Exact same reasoning for me too. I've not yet been able to make that justification work for the £800 the 89 winning #63 C9 would set me back though.. Making do with one of the team-mate cars for now.

Had the 2015 winner on back order with Trax for six or eight months and finally got the request for payment through this am so it must be ready for release at last

If you are going to Le Mans be sure to report back on any other new models you spot! And pick up at least one and be sure to make something off of eBay!

Just a public service announcement about the Spark Porsche 919 winning car from 2015.

Be VERY careful when purchasing these. If it is the cheaper packaging with the Porsche branding, rather than the Le Mans branding, then it is NOT the 2015 car. It is the 2014 car, with a 2015 paint scheme. That's why its £25 cheaper than the Le Mans branded version.
