I'm planning for the Milton Keynes Bowl on 21st, only £8.50 for us 'Seniors'.
Anyone else from civilisation going to be there?

I have put it in the diary to go to the Leeds/Bradford cinema, and we must have a seat included in our price as it's £10.50 for wrinklies.

It's only on for the one night, so don't miss it.

Having said that, I am amazed that going north out from the Central London Odeon, not one other one is showing it until you get the Milton Keynes. Yet go up to West Yorkshire and the nearby environs, it is being shown in about 5 venues. Weird or what?

MK booked at £13.50 each ! And that's a standard seat. Must be some variable pricing at play ...

When I checked the MK site it had their standard prices (£8.50 evenings for Seniors) Maybe they are charging extra for this event, I will have to take another look. I must say it was not easy to find the prices in the first place.

'We could perhaps meet up before hand?

I do not know the venue, so have arranged to meet a friend at a nearby McDonalds, as this should be fairly easy to find, at 7.30pm so if you want to say hello look out for my Bauble badge. Or two older gentlemen, though I suspect there will be a lot of us of a similar age lurking about.

Bob.

Meanwhile, up in God's own country - so the locals keep telling me - I shall be partaking of McDonalds' finest coffee to keep me awake well past my bedtime. The establishment is almost around the corner from the Leeds/Bradford Odeon, and if you see a lonely old man there from from 7.30 also, do take pity on him and possibly join in his misery.

It's probably cheaper if you are accompanied by a parent, or at least a responsible adult!
