Seen this picture on .nl site is it rallyx car or rally car ? my dutch not being that good !!!

I think it says its owed by a Patrick van Mechelen didn't he run a p2000 in the past ??.

Either way it is one mean looking machine

the subaru is owened and driven by the belgium rallycrossdriver patrick van mechelen.(at least when the car is ready later on in the season)

he is already driving a buitiful sub for a few years now,and pretty succesfull to.
il try to post some foto's of his subaru later on.

and by the way he is competing in the first round of the erc championchip this weekend in luosouda in portugal.

the entry list is pretty impressive,whit al the europeen top drivers.

i realy think it is a shame that there arent any britisch drivers ho compete in a few rounds of the erc.

i remember when i just startet going to the rallycross guys like jhon whelch,pat doran and trevor reeves where always there.(and of course will gellop) i also think the english rx confederation should considder to organise a erc round again.

I agree it is sad that there arent more UK drivers competing in the Euro series, I am not sure why really, maybe the guys like Gollop and Doran etc used to get some form of sponsorship from the ferry peoploe and the like to travel all over the place, coz Will in particular did the ERC every from 1987 to 95, that is a lot of travelling in my book and is very hard to get a sponsor to pay for!

I think the newer breed of drivers like Jordan and McCkluskey could be interested but in relaity its a bit of fun for most of the guys in UK rallycross, they have nothing to prove and dont want all the damage you would get in Europe!

A few do the Benelx rounds and always have done, maybe its a better idea to get more drivers over there for that double header, am sure the ferry companies could be buttered up by someone to offer cheap rates!!

i sure would like to see some of the britisch drivers at the belgian and the dutch round of the erc.


in holland in 2005 were some of them:
evans,carnagie,gellop
and in belgium tony bell and pat doran were anaunced but i dont think they showed up,let's hope they do this year i think some of them would be very competitive.
