Definitely deserves to be on the list is probably the best karter going around at the moment.
He had a go at Formula Ford car racing in the early 2000's after winning the Ford Kartstars series and was quite competitive.

Unfortunately like a very big number of other drivers, budget was the major problem and he decided to go back to karts that he could afford and enjoy.

It is one of my pet gripes that most people outside the "game" think that the best drivers are in V8's which could not be further from the truth.

Some teams like to be seen to be "giving the young guns a go" but in reality its giving dads cheque book a go, not the driver.

You can have all the ability & talent in the world but will never get to display it if you dont have the cash.
