You shouldn't have any problem getting in on Friday night & setting up camp (usually in the outer paddock). Security is 24 hours so you'll always find someone on the gate. They might be a bit pickier than usual for the BTCC meeting but they're always friendly & helpful: just make sure you've got your tickets to hand.

The minibus picks up from the old admin block (on the left, just before the inner gate) but will also pickup from the campsite as long as you make yourself obvious.

its my first very intensive year aswell, if they doubt you, what works great is turning up in your probans with the "the come on, im a marshal, they didnt send out car passes this time, ive got tickets, got guest tickets, look at the size of my car, its late at night" line.
there would have to be a real jobsworth not to let you in.

Don't be so sure! Rockingham's campsite is about 1/3 the size of Donington's

There is also a Wetherspoons next door to the Hampton Green Hilton hotel less than half a mile from the circuit.

If anyone has any spare 'Guest' tickets I would appreciate receiving them, can collect them at sign-on on Saturday. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know if the "Greedy Pig" is still open? and if so will it be open on either Saturday or Sunday at Marshal O Clock? find it hard to wave those flags without a hearty breakfast inside one!

Why would you want to wrap a flag round a fry-up?

A big thank you to all those on Posts 16 and 19. Never have I had such a laugh doing so little
Between the banter on both days, there was a cracking night out at the Weatherspoons, with Chris and the band giving it plenty. I'm still recovering and it has taken 2 days just to get around to posting this!!

I have to agree with Power Bulge, I had a fab time even tho nothing happened. I was on post 2a and it was a really chilled happy weekend even if the weather did keep us guessing a little... water proofs on, water proofs off... repeat till end of weekend!
must get a thicker sleeping bag tho, it was FREEZING on sat eve!

My only complaint must go to the press lady who thought it suitable to stop me and take my photo with a jar of coffee with in 5 mins of me crawling out of the tent and while making the early morning dash to the toilet block, it was sarcastic smiles all round for that photo!
