Despite agreeing with the penalty on him and feeling his comments towards the stewards are out of the place, driver of the race was Max.

Kimi.
No, obviously it was Verstappen, despite what happened at the end. |

Max. Even without getting the podium it was a top drive. Shame about the mess afterwards, but I'm still voting for him.
Also an honourable mention to Lewis for winning his home GP with such a good drive including retaking the lead from his championship rival. |

Max for me for sure. Merits for Sainz and for Hartley for making sure he brought to TR home in one piece. And to Hamilton of course for another dominant victory.

Sainz was excellent this weekend. I hope he turns out to be as talented as we believe he is. It is only a positive thing for the Sport.
Max was not half bad either...But Max already has too many of these awards. So Sainz it is. |

To the same person I'll be voting for until the day he leaves F1
First time in a single seater in several years and is just as quick as Stroll, Vandoorne, Grosjean, Ericsson, Magnussen, Wehrlein and the others outside the top 10. He did a better job than Di Resta earlier this year who has had multiple years in F1. But if not Hartley, it has to be Verstappen. 15th to 3rd. I hope RB can get their **** together next year and give him a car capable of beating Merc. |

Fred. Extracted everything from the car again to qualify in the top ten and was looking good for a points finish before being let down by the Honda engine again

If you enjoyed voting here, then why not try F1 Racing's poll for the year.
One of the questions is best drive of the year. Don't forget to vote for Alonso at Monaco. I know technically he was at Indy that weekend, but in someways it is the best drive of the season. This is your chance as a fan to be heard. http://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/387890...-Racing-Awards |

Kimi. We all know how Max is good at overtaking....but Kimi simply used his experience and skill to set the bait to leave a little bit of room for Max to make a move. Max simply fell into the trap and had all four wheels off the track. Sheer brilliance. That is why Kimi truly deserves driver of the race. Everyone focused on that part of the action. No one cared who crossed the finish line first.
