Hey HRT433 , Ive painted them and added them to deep exploration but they are still bitmaps , how do I merge them and make the 3D model ?

All you should have to do is -
replace the Body texture .bmp that is already in the folder where the 3d Model is with the one you have just painted, make sure it keeps the same name (eg. V8VY_BODY1.bmp) it should then show your livery on the model in deep exploration. this is from the readme that Antro supplied... Quote:

Diet Coke Racing is back for another go this year with two new drivers. Garth Tander and Jamie Whincup have been chosen this year and we are hoping for better results than last year.

No probs kmsport just that this is an English forum
anyway Im having huge problems with my livery  I cant use Photoshop or any such stuff I can use the normal windows "paint" program (stop sniggering) but the templates that are available in the downloads that Antro gave will not open in paint at all , they only open in photoshop (which I got no idea on how to paint or put logo's on) i can however use the Deep exploration program (which is excellent by the way , does anyone now of any 3d models for a Champcar out there by any chance ??) but my problem is simply the painting of the cars , is there anyway I can paint the thing in normal "paint" program and then be able to transfer it over to the .psd file system again so I can then put it in the 3d model ? im close but yet so far , any help would be appreciated CHEERS Marcus |

Marcus: Blank templates for Paint. No need to be ashamed at using Paint - before I got PS I mainly used the drawing tools in Excel
 Armageddon: The livery isn't everything (despite the way this thread reads). You've got all year to do that. Everyone: Seeing as the current goss is Baird to Carrera Cup, picking him might be a bad idea. As per the rules, whoever replaces him will be $600,000. |

With some of my Dodo Commie and the Team transporter, I used normal Windows paint, also with Nicky F1's original Blue Team FURT falcon, I used Windows XP paint. So normal paint is good to use unless you want to go over the top

I used paint for my autosport livery, made a mistake by saving it in .GIF.
