webers or throttle bodies soundwise?

i've been an injection and throttle body convert for years now, but having just aquired a mk2 RS2000, i felt it would be a waste not to fit my old 45 dcoe's that used to be on the beemer, the carbs may not have the really sharp bark and throttle responce or even generally nice manors of throttle bodies, but in the sound department they win the battle hands down, what do you all think?

carbs definetly sound meatier on idle and low revs, but I'd never trade in my throttle bodies

Also depends on the bellmouths - like a tuned musical instrument.

Or a shrieking Banshee, this always griped me when I used to get comments from the sound scrutineer about the chevy being 'marginal' but when on the track compared to cars on throttle bodies it was a quiet pussycat.
