Well im pretty sure the bmws are sandbagging....they play so many mind games...We wont learn what the restricotor has done to them until qualifying.

if theyre off the pace dont read tooo much into it This weekend because the BMW have always been awful at mid ohio. last year was a wrc event for them. chronic understeer.

Session over. Cytosport never made it out there for the session. Was that planned or was there an issue? Maybe they had bad memories from this session a year ago?

It looked like Kane was more than a bit quicker than Chris Dyson, but Guy was able to find more than either of them. The Autocon car is still slower than almost all of the LMPCs. They're about 6 seconds off the pace of the leading Dyson, ouch.

Bleekemolen definitely put a whooping on the rest of the GTC field. As mentioned earlier, it was a good session for the #99 Jag. Only about a second off the class leader.

Wouldn't it be something if Jag was actually able to score some points this time round... feat they've achieved only four times (out of 14 proper attemps) so far

That's some encouraging pace from #4 and 3, obviously times are a bit meaningless at this stage of the week but there hasn't been that many occassions when both cars have been on top of testing as of late. Dyson's time is still about 5 seconds off from last year's pole so way to go...

No idea whether to trust the weather updates they have at alms.com but apparently there could be 70% chance of rain on saturday

Yeah, it does look like there is a pretty good chance for rain on Saturday afternoon. It could be a wild one out there.

Correct - Stint 1 was full wet at Petit '09. Lime Rock last year saw light drizzle towards the end of the race that made it slippery but nowhere near enough for wet tyres.

I don't know about Autocon, but right now Kane and Graf are about as close as they come. 0.015 difference between the two. BMWs are 1-3 so far, but it is very, very early. Let's see what happens.

Massive gaps between first and second in P1 and GTC... and Autocon is almost at the pace of leading LMPC entry!

So the bets are on - are we met with a static black screen when the international stream feed of quali is supposed to start?
