Dessert [iV8SC11-R01&02] Yas V8 400, Abu Dhabi 10-12 Feb
So we have seen the test day at Eastern Creek look really good for some, really bad for others, and noisy for everyone else.

Its amazing the PR spin you can get out of coming 4567th fastest...

Now we are into the season proper... and the pilots have their big boy pants on, its time to play for real!

Who will win in parts sandy?

Unless FPR threw away their 2010 set up sheets, they should be hard to beat.. maybe #5 and #6... whaddaya reckon?

you'd also assume 888 haven't thrown out their data sheets, so it could be a #88/#5 shootout once again. Hopefully though the #5 data is shown to the guys working on #6 and #55, which one would assume is what Mr Nilsson is supposed to be facilitating...

So any FPR for me, if not, any 888 will be on the top step

Fabulous, although the off-season felt rather short (shocker).

Situation with V8s is a bit similar to F1... first both series shake down their cars on a boring tarmac playfield at some rich Arab country, and then head to Oz for the best event of the year! The real season starts from Adelaide, wish it was March already.

What? A thread about the V8's racing in the Middle East and its not full of people whinging and whining (mind you, I do know of another place).

I have to admit that I am really looking forward to it (but I'm not sure whether I will watch it live!). Here's hoping that Will Davo can make amends for his time at the dark side!

Maybe they've already given up hope for the series since the people who make the decisions still dont care what the fans want?

given cars #11 and #16 are the same chassis as last year, would you expect any different? Who got Rick's chassis from last year?

Remember that Murphy has never driven on here before, he missed last year because he was doing Top Gear in New Zealand and his former boss was in his car.
