I have made contact and he was going to measure his car but never got back to me. I see the waiver for Cortinas and Jags but I tell you I will not run the car if I could not get a waiver as it would mean jacking the front up so high the wishbone would slope dowards and I will not race it like that as it would be dangerous (see Fred Puhn's book On how to make your car Handle, a big no no). When I raced the car before it had 16" rims fitted and it is on 15's now and what worries me as well is I have Hoosiers 60 series tyres fitted at the moment and according to the tyre supplier the specially made 15" tyres are closer to a 55 series than a 60 series taking the car down even lower. I am absolutely convinced anyother Camaro that has run in the Championship will not achieve 4" clearance at the lowere front wishbones, it is not possible.
