Is it the car that was being discussed in this thread a few years back?
http://tentenths.com/forum/showthrea...ghlight=sytner

We've talked about the various 635s that passed through Frank's hands several times in various threads, particularly the main 635 thread, and I'm still not sure we've totally worked out which cars he had at any given time, and where they subsequently went....
From vague memory, did the Sytner car in NZ get there as part of a package deal including at least one other car- the ex-Barrie Williams prodsaloon 635?

Maybe we need a dedicated Sytner 635 thread....

MalcolmC should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
While looking for something else I stumbled across copy of a document that is relevant to the thread, if not the current line of discussion.
From the Sept '84 Canterbury Car Club Magazine:
http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/...1984-GpA-a.jpg
http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/...1984-GpA-b.jpg
The document mentions a couple of attachments that aren't included, but there is a note on another page stating that "There are two further additions to the (Group A) Eligibility List, being the Cortina TE and TF GL (4.1L Manual)."

This is Dougal's car in Nelson Feb'08:

And at Manfeild in Nov'09:

Hopefully it, and all the other NZ 635s, will be at Hampton Downs next month.

Malcolm.

No price is given, but the ad notes that it is a 1982 Isuzu Gemini ZZ and that was also used as a rally car.
Hi there, i just discovered this post, is it possible that you could pm or email me a pic of the advertisement for the Gemini? Or the info contained? It could be the only other surviving PF60E Gemini ran in group A other than the John White one i'm restoring

Hi there, I just finished trawling through this thread for my website touringcarracing.net; the Australia/NZ 1984/85 section will be included at the next update. The Nissan and B&H series results, although incomplete, didn't really cause problems concerning race dates or schedule; the NZTCC however did. If anyone can confirm the 6 races to be Timaru, Ruapuna, Wigram, Manfeild, Pukekohe and Baypark (or in any other order) that would be helpful as well as the race dates for Timaru and Ruapuna; the other 4 seem right to me (being dec 2, 9 and 16 1984, and jan 1 1985 for Wigram, Manfeild, Pukekohe and Baypark. Any more details on results is welcome too, of course.

Ruapuna & Wigram are both Christchurch circuits and I think unlikely to have hosted consecutive rounds of the NZTCC. Checking back through some old magazines reveals the following NZ Championship dates & venues.
18 Nov 84 - Levels (near Timaru)
25 Nov 84 - Teretonga (Invercargill)
2 Dec 84 - Wigram (Christchurch)
9 Dec 84 - Manfeild (Feilding)
16 Dec 84 - Pukekohe (Pukekohe)
31 Dec 84 - Baypark (Tauranga) Some sources list the date as 1 Jan 85.
