Just finished watching the races from last weekend, great racing all weekend. Got to agree with the comments regarding the SC towards the end of race 2 though. We get so many SC periods - possibly for a few birds in a gravel trap next weekend - but this time they didn't even put out stationary yellows for a car that went straight off at the end of the longest straight of the circuit. And that after quite a number of brake issues over the weekend.
Finishing a race under SC conditions isn't nice. But with 4 or 5 cars off in the braking zones of the two fastest spots on the circuit you just have to slow cars down.

Just finished both races. Thought the racing was good across the board. Definite improvement in the format of the Super Sprint rounds on Saturday.

Thought the stewards missed it on the last incident with the oil. I'm usually against bringing out safety cars but with 3 cars off and oil on the ground I think it should have been done.

PRA seem to be off from where they were last year. Frosty didn't quite have the race pace and the other two were just ok all weekend. Impressive for Tekno to get two results proving there is life after SVG. Speaking of SVG, real shame to lose the main race that way. He thoroughly deserved to take home a double victory and I really think he is a title contender. Maybe co-most likely with Whincup.
