Last night I watched Suzuka 2005 again just to remember how great Kimi could be. When he is great - he is great however he had a few too many off days - particularly in his last season. I hope he has learnt from that experience and I would love to see him back in F1.
I also remember an interview he did one time with Martin Brundle(just before his grid walk) and Martin asked him if he been to a celebration for Schumacher(he had been given an award), and Kimi said :"No. I don't know, I was busy taking a sh**!" The look on poor Martin's face after that! |

Good article about Raikkonen and Renault
Re Raikkonen and his alleged interest in returning to F1 with Renault for 2011, HERE is an insightful and I believe on the money article about it by Joe Saward, the one man who seems to have the knowledge and an eye on what is really going on in F1 land. |

That's a very sensible viewpoint from Joe Saward - I think he's right that there wouldn't really be much in it for Raikkonen to make a comeback. He's been champion and would be unlikely to do it again, and F1 didn't really suit his lifestyle.
This is definitely my favourite part of his article though: Quote:

Look, the last memory of Raikkonen is of a man fed up with F1 and not performing to the level he is capable of. He has a new challenge in rallying and I would prefer to see him stick at that, rather than walk back into Renault. Similarly, I'd like Petrov to be given time - a rare thing in F1. I'd never want JPM to come back for similar reasons, I think when you have had enough you should not go back. |

Got to say at least one ridiculous thing every day. Webber to Mercedes. There, that's two! |
