Yankee SVT should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Hello! Just wanted to say great site hu! Also wanted to ask why do you think no one purchased the x factory team Mondeo? Do you think these cars would have had a chance in the hands of privateers? Was it due to the rules?
Sorry for so many questions I am from the states and dont get a lot of info on the BTCC. ButI will miss the Ford Mondeos.

The Mondeos aren't eligible for this year's BTCC because of the change in regulations. the 3 cars were up for sale and could have been used in the Euro seres but I don't think they ever found a buyer. My guess was that the cars were just too expensive, especially as they would have nowhere to go at the end of this year.

And i certainly can't see Ford returning to the BTCC anytime soon. Definately not with the Mondeo, and not with the Focus-they want to concentrate that on the WRC. Shame.

I think there is no Mondeo team this year because it was too big for the series. They could return with the Focus but it is being run in the WRC but I think they should a Ford Puma in the series or sell privateer Focus's.

Two of the Mondeo's were bought by Formula Saloons drivers.
