Agree with JackN, i thought Hartley's pen was really harsh, Vergne was imperious though wasn't he.

Yeah, as I think we said in commentary it was a real shame Ricciardo binned it going to the grid, as that could have been great.

charouz got a warning on the timing screens pretty quickly for the move (he got a dangerous driving warning), it was before he retired. hartley's penalty was definitely harsh, can't argue with that. especially in the context of charouz. oh well, i'm sure hartley will be strong tomorrow too.
what about wickens' pace? has f1 been too much of a distraction or is he still suffering from missing part of free practice? |

Never really understood why Adam Carroll isn't in F1, Indy Cars, DTM etc, etc.Just about everyone know's he's every bit as good as Rosberg,Piquet Jnr,Will Power,Paffett,Green,Spengler,Sutil to name but a few.
He's one of the best of his generation yet nobody's picked him up.....strange. |

Not certain Gomick but think he may have beached it on the formation lap.

that was race 1. i'm not aware of any specific problems in race 2? perhaps now the title is clearly not on the cards and the end goal is different things have changed a little when qualifying doesn't quite go to plan?
i hope red bull aren't going to disrupt vergne's campaign now with any more simulator work on fridays and things like that. |

I think ISR were not up to it there at that track, at some tracks they have struggled this season it seems.

they didn't participate last year due to the great cracked tub controversy. this year, ricciardo was in the top 10 in both test sessions on friday.
