Hello,

i'm a colletor of Opel/Vauxhall scalemodel, in that collection i have some Vauxhall and Opel's from Racing Replicas that's a brand from the UK made bij Cocol International in Bristol.

Can anyone tell me of the brand is still on the market ?

How has a list or some information about the Opel/Vauxhall/GM models from Replicas ?

I have some in my collection:

I can't find anything about racing replicas anywhere - what scale are the models? There are quite a few manufacturers that make scale models of Opel/Vauxhall cars http://www.grandprixmodels.co.uk/ is a good source of kits and decals but there's no mention of racing replicas.

The scale in 1/43, there has also made some Ford Mondeo's i have heard.

There are quite a few manufacturers that make Opel/Vauxhall kits and diecasts in 1/43 - the link above should give you a good range of the kits.

I've got 1/43 diecast models of DTM Calibras and BTCC/STW Vectras (mostly Onyx but a couple of Minichamps)

Yes thats right ONYX has made 4 Calibra's and Minichamps has made the reast form 1992 to 1996.
The most Vectra type B are from ONYX, only 1998 and 199 are made bij Minichamps.

The Racing Raplicas are hard to find but now i have 6 of this models in my collection moest BTCC or the France version of the BTCC

It looks Racing Replicas has made a Cavalier, a Mondeo and the BMW 318.

Racing Replicas went bankrupt so 1/43 BTCC models by this company are definitely very valuable. You could probably fetch a lot of money for that French supertouring Opel Cavalier!!

I'm not sure if Minichamps bought Racing Replicas, Vitesse and Onyx out? I know for sure Minichamps bought out PMA. In '99, Action performance bought out Minichamps/PMA.

I've got a couple of 1/43 scale Vauxhall Vectras from 1996, Cleland and Thommo. I also I have a Chevvy Vectra and an Opel Vectra, bought from the now-non-existent F1 shop near Silverstone IIRC. You could try Trax, although they tend to be on the expensive side IMO. Oh, and they were Minichamps I reckon.

Don't forget there was also a Racing Replicas based on the Anthony Reid Opel Vectra (was a Cavalier) that raced in the '94 Macau Guia. The car was originally from the JTCC championship. Racing Replica model #94041

It's very difficult to find Racing Replica models. The late model Minichamps Vectras are generally easy to find.
