No 4 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
A few facts.

There is currently no legal action underway in relation to the incident and hence it is not sub-judice (hope that's the right spelling!!). Translated, there's no reason why it can't be talked about.

Diz - Jamie came through from 12 to 3 in race 2.

There was contact at Shaws, but it was minor and both cars continued with no impairment.

The stewards decision was to disqualify Jamie and endorse his licence with 4 points.

Prior to the incident Jamie had closed a gap of several seconds on Justin.

Before being disqualified Jamie had recorded the fastest out right lap in the race.

John - to your point about yellow flags - of course your right, but even experienced drivers commit these offences when the adrenalin is flowing. The bottom line is it's up to the stewards to take action.

Is a 4 point endorsement fairly common? Seems a bit harsh to me

Interesting, much more forgiving than my SC94, although we seem to have something of a 'knife edge' set-up on that. You can alter the line mid-way thorugh the corner, or get on/off the power without spinning off instantly. Very difficult to get off the line though...

My experience to date is not that great though as I've only ran it at Combe where I had never been before and yesterday was ruined with a constant misfire out of the hairpin which completely ****ed me up.

The Team West-tec lads (and lasses) really looked after me though and tried changing pretty much everything - to no avail.

Thanks, I'll pass that on to the car owner.
