Try using the search facility - we covered this most recently all of two or three weeks ago as I recall

thanks for the advice josvandeperre, though not for the tone. I will try not to waste anyone's time in future, and do a search before submitting a topic.

Competition do the insurance when you are on the track but not the transit. I must add as a regular user of both they are both very good with Competition being super quick to settle claims

My car and trailer are insured with CCI and the car is covered until it goes on the track. On-track insurance is mega expensive and probably not worth the cost if you spread the cost over a season.

Try Alexander Forbes in Manchester.

They do cover for £25 per £1000 (I think).

They cover the car trailer and tools. The only thing that isn't covered is the car on track. Your overalls and even loss of licence or race fee is covered by the initial payment.

Minimum premium of £150 applies.

I think this is the number 01612367371. If not, try 01612280721
