Porsche 917

Even where we do not build/provide the histories ourselves, I like to think that ultimately 10-Tenths will be the first place to look for any chassis history, acting as a central point, even if, as in this case, it is to link you to another site. One of my favourite racing cars:-

driftwood has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
a good book to read is John Horsmans account of life at JWA developing the 917 and Gulf/Mirage race cars
Vic Elfords book is another good read as he was a long serving Porsche racer and rally driver
