Andros Trophy: Muller wins, Prost second in championship...
I don't think this has been mentioned before, but congratulations to

I'm surprised by how well Alain Prost has went in the Andros Trophy. Next year once he has some experience I'm sure he'll be a good bet for champion.

It just goes to show that he really has natural talent. I think his methodical approach has often caused people to think that he wasn't inherently that quick. But he was, and is.

Celebration is a bit of an under-statement. They won't need the cars again for another 11 months so maybe you can excuse a spot of panel damage.
Prost got pushed wide by Muller in the final, damaging his steering. He then spun on the next corner and was rammed by another car. Fantastic event, well worth the trip

VERY well worth the trip!!
 I gather those pesky Micras have been annoying people with their habit of winning, which would explain 40,000 leaping to their feet cheering when Franck LaGorce took a lead which he held to the end! Why can't we have events organised like that in this country?

Blimey!
I enjoyed that so much I could post. I would like to correct Mr.Shoes in his version of the Muller/Prost incident....from my biased standpoint it looked as though Monsieur Prost was trying a little "move" on Muller and came off worse. Either way, a superb evenings racing and nearer than Knockhill by car from London. |
