On the live stream I have a screen that says: "In wenigen Minuten geht's los!"
*Which I just translated as: "In a few minutes we hit the road!"* <<Edit It just flashed and showed the grid for about 1 second then flipped back to the message above. The race hasn't started yet, holding out hope... |

100 went off on the last corner. Bilstein passed him but there was a support truck right ahead so it slowed down and ended up behind the other 2 R8s.
They forgot the leader is ahead of them and taking each other out won't help them. |

According to the timing, the top competitors are consistently running laps between 8:45 and 9:00 minutes. Just for comparison, the Chaparral qualified at 8:31.9 in 1967! Sure the course is a little different, but it's still interesting how technology has made GT cars of today as fast as the best protos there were back then.

Live video link only shows the cars going into Turn 1 at the moment; hopefully it changes to using all the other cameras soon.
