The scholarship Urrutia received was $680,000~ if I'm not mistaken. In part due to the low-volume introduction of the IL-15, the Lights season budget (including testing etc) was approximately $1 million per car for a team like Schmidt Peterson Motorsports. Now that the chassis are with the teams and they've had a chance to amortize them, I expect a drop in that cost.

As our Uruguayan friend pointed out, ANCAP took a hit recently so the money he got from them to run Pro Mazda has likely been reduced. Also, the calendar expansion to 18 races for the 2016 season might cancel out the potential savings I mentioned above. Each race can be up to 100 miles long which is only exceeded by a GP2 feature race.

Who is Davey Ryan? I googled the team Eddie Sachs Racing and it turns out they are involved in USAC, Chilli Bowl, etc. open wheel competition. As far as he website states a gentleman called Davey Ray is their main competitor. Long way from competing Sprint Cars to Indy Lights. Did they even hire the Dallara/AER package yet?

Think we can start putting question mark over Hamilton Jr. and McCormack as well. Choi is interesting one.... Is he signed?

They made an announcement in February about participating in the season opener at St Pete (about a month ago). They didn't say anything about the Barber test, so we'll have to wait and see I guess.
