FPRXR-6 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BF or BA?

Does anyone know what's happening with the Fords this season?
Are they running the BA cosmetics and calling them BF's or will they run with BF cosmetics?

Vanilla Dice has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I thought the factory teams had to run the latest model?

The Britekkers reckon their 2 old dungers are running this year as BA's

If its good enough for the bottom end of the field.....

Considering the only cosmetic differences are the front air dam and the wheels, both of which are changed for racing. Does it matter?

As to mechanicals, maybe the FOrd boys will be running the improved "barra 190" with 6 speed auto.

I doubt that they would use them on the 5L engine, though

TEGA has approved the new D3 cylinder heads for use for this season as the C3 is no longer in production.

Are there any advantages with the D3 heads?

But don't the rules regarding what is homologated for use with the engines going to change again in 2007??? so might not be worth the R&D $$$ for one year for many teams to swap over.

Wasn't it something like- supply issues, run the D3 heads if you have to, don't if you don't have to- and a control cylinder head to be brought in from '07 onwards?

So the racing-mod BA and BF falcons will be identical?

Ford have been told as the cars are virtually identical they aren't allowed to change the aero parts but they can change the barely changed tail lights & badges etc to the BF spec.

So my 3 year old Falcon BA XT is now superseded because Ford has put new tail lights on the thing... it will no doubt do wonders for its resale.

Maybe I could convince the leasing company to let me turn it into a racing shell. Its red... and dont red cars usually go faster?
